Racecourse Facilities

Tauranga Racecourse offers a versatile space for equestrian activities. Facilities are available for use by Key Members, Affiliated Clubs, Approved Equestrian Groups, and non-members.
Casual use is $20 per rider per booking.

These facilities are suitable for lessons, individual use, rallies, and other organised events.

Facilities Available:

  • Sand Arena – All-weather surface (currently undergoing quality improvements)

  • Grass Arena – Suitable for a range of equestrian disciplines

  • Show Jumps – Available for use (must be set up and packed away after use)

  • Grass Half-Track – Ideal for warm-up, flatwork, or hacking

  • Yards – Onsite horse yards available during bookings

  • Wash Bays – Convenient wash-down areas for horses

  • Toilets – Basic facilities available for riders and visitors
