TECT Park is a unique and award-winning outdoor playground located between Tauranga and Rotorua in the Western Bay of Plenty. Spanning 1,650 hectares, the park offers a huge variety of activitiesβfrom walking and mountain biking to shooting, paintball, motocross, and more. Managed jointly by the Western Bay of Plenty District Council and Tauranga City Council, the park is a space for everyone to explore and enjoy.
Since its opening in 2010, TECT Park has proudly flown the Green Flag Award, an international recognition for well-managed and accessible green spaces. It was also voted one of the Top 10 International Peopleβs Choice parks in 2022.
π Equestrian Facilities at TECT Park
TECT Park is home to excellent public equestrian facilities located in the north-western corner of the park. Whether you're after a relaxed hack through the bush or a base for a group ride, this area is well-equipped and open to all riders.
