💡 Please note: Some trails are for walkers or bikers only, so make sure to stick to the dedicated equestrian routes for everyone’s safety and enjoyment.

🚛 Horse Float Parking

You'll find convenient float parking just down from The Redwoods Gift Shop & Visitor Centre. There's a lovely grassed area shaded by roadside Redwoods where you can unload your horse, gear up, and get going.

There are composting bins available for manure, so please do your part to help keep this incredible space clean—both before and after your ride!

Horse riding is a high-risk activity, so please ride responsibly. Redwoods’ shared forestry roads may have vehicles, walkers, and cyclists, so stay alert and considerate at all times.

Important riding guidelines:

  • Wear an approved helmet, boots, and protective gear

  • No galloping or racing on the trails

  • Stick to marked horse tracks and forestry roads

  • Carry a map, food, water, and clothing appropriate for your planned route

  • Always remove manure from roads/tracks and use the compost bins when done
