After a successful first programme of Fantails, we are very excited to be running our second Milo Fantails programme which is designed to attract new female players aged 8yrs - 13yrs to the beautilful game of football.

What is MILO Fantails?

If you have young girls looking to give football a go in a fun and safe environment, MILO Fantails is the programme for you!

MILO Fantails is a programme designed to attract new female players aged 8–13 years old to the beautiful game through sessions focused on helping girls make friends, having fun, improving their skills and being active through football.

Wainuiomata Information for Fantails:

This programme will be running for 6 sessions every Sunday from 2nd November 2025. These sessions will focus on introducing new girls to the game of football, improving their skill, helping girls make friends, having fun and being active through these football sessions at Richard Prouse park. 2025 Term 4 Registrations are open:

Venue:   Richard Prouse Park
Day:      Sunday (2nd November - 7 December)
Time:    9am to 10am
Ages:    8 - 13

Make Friends Fantails is a great place for young girls to make new friends and we want to help foster and grow these new relationships

Have Fun Learning about football through fun and engaging activities is at the heart of every Fantails session

Boost Confidence Fantails sessions are a safe environment where girls are able to be themselves, try new things, and boost their confidence

Develop Life Skills​ Fantails aims to help young people develop life skills such as respecting others, having a positive attitude, and overcoming challenges

Female Role Models Having female role models to look up to and aspire to will support young girls reaching their potential in sport and life

Improve Skills & Movement The programme gives opportunities for girls to move and play - exploring the 11+ Kids fundamental movements.​​
