Waitaki Community Recreation Centre and Sport Waitaki

ACTIVE KIDS Holiday Programme - runs for one week every school holidays
- for primary school and intermediate school aged kids
April 2024 school holidays dates - Monday 15 to Thursday 18 April (4 days)
Online registrations from Monday 25 March. 

One week each school holidays, mornings 9.30am to 12.30pm


All activities are based at the Rec Centre unless stated otherwise. Please note that places usually fill fast and that a 'wait list' will operate once registrations are full. If/when days become full the registration page will display "FULL" beside that day. We will contact you if/when a place becomes available. It's worth registering for the waiting list as there's a good chance your child will still get a place.  Just contact the Rec Centre if you are not sure, thanks.


Cost - $10 per child per morning, or $36 for 4 mornings​​​​​​​


Activities: a wide range of sports from the local community - local groups and clubs give the kids an opportunity to try out their sport. New sports and some of the old favourites are delivered each holiday programme.

January 2024: So that's a wrap, another full-on week of activities with a wonderful bunch of kids, our amazing volunteers, and all the clubs and individuals who gave of their time to create a special week for the kids.
