Cycling NZ Schools administers secondary school events for Year 09-13. Schools must be an affiliated member to enter students in these competitions. As part of the affiliation process, schools will be required to supply the details of all students who are taking part in their cycling programme who will likely participate in an event during the affiliated year.
Western BOP School Association facilitates events for primary for Years 05 and 06 and intermediate Years 7 and 8. See Key Dates.
All riders must have their own mountain bike and training is not provided through the school.
A mountain biking shirt is provided to all riders for all competitions.
Parents must be able to provide transport and supervision at events, depending on participation numbers.
