Christchurch Netball Centre’s (CNC) Netsal project at Ngā Puna Wai continues to take shape with building plans almost complete. Consent is due to be before the council in coming weeks with a view to construction beginning in June/July.

Prior to construction occurring, there will be a site blessing on Friday 6 May at 9.30 am followed by kai and refreshments. If you would like to attend the blessing, please register your interest with Robbie Harlow by Friday 29 April.

This facility will provide CNC with an indoor resource which will be able to lead and develop netball into the future. A considerable amount of mahi has been completed by the Board Members, CNC staff and community to get us to this milestone and they should be commended on their efforts.

CNC are aware that the transition from Hagley Park to Ngā Puna Wai is a big change and we want to know your thoughts, ideas and any concerns you may have. This is an incredibly exciting time for the CNC fraternity and one we want to make the most of. Consultation will begin with all clubs soon.
