Uniform Requirements – Year 1–8

To ensure consistency across all teams and maintain a professional standard, the following uniform requirements apply to all Year 1–8 grades.

Playing Uniform

• All players must wear the correct registered school or club uniform during games.

• Navy blue or black long sleeve thermals are permitted for all grades and may be worn under the playing uniform during extreme cold weather.

• No coloured leggings are permitted.

Hair & Appearance

• Long hair must be tied up securely during all games for safety reasons.

Jewellery & Safety

• No earrings, watches, or other jewellery are permitted during games.  

• Medical alert bracelets and taonga are allowed, but must be securely taped.​​​​​​​

These requirements are in place to ensure player safety, fairness, and consistency across all grades.
