Club singlet

Athletes must wear club uniform when they compete at interclub competitions and Colgate Games. They are also encouraged to wear the uniform on club nights.

Singlets can be purchased from our uniform supplier, NZ Uniforms. They will be attending our first club night with our club merchandise.

Here is how you can obtain one.

• Visit the NZ Uniforms store at 4 Jackson Street, Petone to try your size and purchase in-store. In addition to Monday to Friday store hours, the store is open 9am to 4pm Saturdays.
• Phone the NZ Uniforms number, (04) 282 0129
• Go to the online store to order your size and make payment.

Plain black shorts

Plain black shorts must be worn, with no printing (unofficial brand markings). Black “Skins’-type garments can be worn, but must conform to Athletics NZ guidance on sponsorship and must not go below the knee.

Other merchandise

LHAAC hoodies and hats (cap and bucket hats) can also be purchased through NZ Uniforms.  Please note, athletes cannot compete in a club hoodie (singlets only) but these can be worn between events.

Shoes/spikes

Sports shoes must be worn for discus and shotput.

Spikes and shoes capable of taking spikes, can only be worn by athletes in grade 10 and above, for running and jumping events.

Competitor bib

Children taking part in an interclub event will be issued with a "bib" – which is a vinyl patch with the athlete’s grade and competitor number on it.  These must be worn by athletes in all competitive events. 

Bibs can be picked up at the first interclub and the club will communicate further details about this when the season commences.

Safety pins

Two (or four) safety pins are required to pin the bib to the singlet. It needs to be on the front in the middle underneath the Lower Hutt logo.

LHAAC T-shirts

Orders for our LHAAC Dri-Fit T-Shirts and Long Sleeve Tees are now open!

These stylish and comfortable shirts, available in vibrant red with the same LHAAC branding as our current hoodies, are perfect for showing your support.

Please note that these tees can only be worn under the official Lower Hutt Athletics Singlet for competitions but are ideal for between events and for club nights and training in.

They are available exclusively through the club and are not for purchase through NZ Uniforms, as with our standard uniform items.
