Interclub 6: Sunday 1 March 2026 - Newtown Park, Wellington (10am start) Schedule here
If you haven't registered for interclubs yet, please do so here by 6pm Friday 27 February.
If you haven't collected your athletes name flash yet (a tag with your childs name and age grade on it), head to the conference room and see the lead who is issuing them that week.
Athletes need to wear a Lower Hutt Athletics singlet which you can either buy new from our shop through NZ Uniforms, or pick up on our FB second-hand site or from Jen Broster on club nights, along with plain black shorts (no patterns).
Athletes can enter every round on the schedule, or 1 or 2 - it is totally up to them. They just need to arrive at the start of the round, and check in at the desk at the event for field events, or at the start line for track events..
More info can be found here.
PLEASE NOTE: The long jump parent roster for Interclub 6 can also be found here
Each club is required to run a station at every one of the interclub, and Wellington Champs events. Lower Hutt runs the Long Jump Pit 1 which is the pit closest to the zoo end of Newtown Park, and the southern end of Colin Pugh Sportsbowl closest to the entry. This means that every family who has athletes competing at the interclub event, must help with at least one round of that interclub. We will provide training for all parents, so do not fear you won't know what to do. You will be an expert before the year is out!
If we all do our bit, we will cover the day without missing too many of our children's events - and if you time it well, you can still see them from a far or time it to a round they aren't competing.
