The Lower Hutt Amateur Athletics Club (LHAAC) is proudly led by a dedicated team of volunteers who are passionate about giving back to their community. Their commitment helps create an inclusive, supportive, and energetic environment where athletes of all ages can stay active, build their confidence, and enjoy the benefits of fitness. Thanks to their hard work and enthusiasm, the club continues to thrive as a place where people come together to learn, compete, and grow.

The LHAAC Committee is a team of eight parents, working together for all LHAAC athletes. Each year the committee and officers are voted on, but we welcome interest from anyone who would like to help support this club to grow.

We are an incorporated society, which means we operate as a legally recognised, not‑for‑profit organisation run for the benefit of our members and community - not for private gain. Our structure ensures transparency, clear governance, and accountability in everything we do.
