Grab a mate, a loved one, a work colleague - and give it a go

Now’s a great time to give bowls a go. You may have thought about it in the past but didn’t know how to go about it, well, we can help.

Daylight savings has arrived and it’s time to get outdoors and try something new.

Have A Go!  For 4 weeks in a row will be hosting FREE Open Days on a Sunday afternoon from 2pm to 4pm, These are aimed at helping new players get introduced to this fantastic game and familiar with our wonderful club.  It’s your choice! You can come to one date that suits you best, or all four dates if you like, that’s entirely up to you.

OPEN DAY DATES – Sunday October 13^th, 20^th and 27^th and Sunday November 3^rd. Just wear comfy clothing and flat soled shoes and we’ll provide the rest.

Our bar will be open and we’ll finish off with a light afternoon snack.

Bowls can offer different things to different people, depending on what you’re looking for. For some it’s companionship, the opportunity to make new friends, feed competitive urges or simply a reason to get out of the house and do something. There are different formats of the game and different competitions to enter to help you find something that suits you. More can be discussed at the Open Days.

There’s no need to formally register for an Open Day, but it would really help us for catering purposes if we had an idea of the numbers attending each week – there is a quick registration form in the link below.
