This first session is for you and your parents (if they would like to attend) to get together and look at who this group is, why you are here, and what opportunities you would like out of this group.

This won't be your ordinary group driven by note taking and attending boring meetings, we have heaps of awesome opportunities and fun events up our sleeves so come along and see what it’s all about! 

What is our Youth Group? 

This is a brand new programme to help build hauora and ignite a voice for the rangatahi of our Centre. Not only will this group have a range of personal development opportunities and connections to meet new people, you will also be given real life experiences within the Centre to help develop your skills. For example, organising events like BBQ’s and Fun Days, writing stories and helping manage our social media. This can lead into leadership opportunities such as The Mainland Youth Group and Netball New Zealand Leaders programme if you are interested. This group will be facilitated by myself and Jimmy Sinclair who is an amazing life and sports coach, we’re also keen to get parents involved if anyone is interested!
