There are two memorials down the back of the Estate: 

Memorial to Michael Graham, truck driver, killed on the railway crossing in 1999. This resulted in the closure of Corban's original driveway near the house in 2001 and the opening of today’s sole road entrance at Mt Lebanon Lane.

22: Walked to Summerland Bridge to find a geocahe, then followed the stream to find the Paremuka wooden footbridge flooded, caused by debris blocking the overflow at the Seagull sculpture. Work started on Summerland Drive to upgrade pedestrian crossing by the school.
