Senior Division


The Warkworth Netball Club has teams available to adults, to play in the senior competition at the Netball Rodney Centre in Wellsford. 

Where and when 

The competition run by the Netball Rodney Centre is played at Centennial Park in Wellsford on Friday evenings with games starting at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm. The season runs from early May until the end of August.

What Warkworth Netball Club offers 

Our club will place you in a team and provide teams with balls, uniforms on loan and support throughout the season. Instead of holding trials, we ask players which level of netball they would like to play and try to accomodate as best as we can. Each team will have a maximum of 12 players and can choose a coach and / or captain and decide on a training evening if they wish.

Who can register for the senior competition

Rodney Netball Centre's senior competition is for adult players (those who are not undertaking education in the school years of years 9-13). This senior competion is also only for women. At times, Netball Rodney Centre will run a short mixed competition, however the Friday night league does not allow this. 

Grading 

The first couple of weeks of games, Netball Rodney Centre will be grading so that each team is placed in the approapriate grade for the rest of the season. 

Registering with us

To register with us, you'll need to complete our online registration form. Fees are due before the season starts. 

Umpires 

Our club is required to provide umpires for each of our teams, so if you would like to umpire, please be in touch. Umpires are paid small amount to show our appreciation for their time.
