Rowing Club Registration and Forms
Wellington College requires students and care-givers to complete several forms to comply with EOTC (Education outside the classroom) guidelines and health and safety regulations.
These forms provide the school with emergency contact details and information on each students health and medical issues.
A Star Boating Club registration is required to allow your son to row for the Star BC.
Here are the links to the consent forms and Star Boating Club registration.
These forms cover all trips and regattas to the end of the regular season which is the NISSC regatta in March.
Separate forms or reconfirmation of information provided now may be required just ahead of Maadi.
Parents must advise the club and your son's coach of any changes to your son's health or any medical issues that arise during the season.
Rowing NZ registration
As we are part of the Star Boating Club and also involved in the Wellington College school program we are also required to register with Rowing NZ.
Any individual such as rower, coxswain, coach, committee member and volunteer is required to register with Rowing NZ using Rowing Connect. There is no cost for registering. When a rower/coxswain registers, their details will feed through to RowIT, which will continue to be the Rowing NZ regatta entry and results system.
Follow these instructions - these will help you complete this process easier -> How to register with Rowing NZ - step by step
You will need to create an acocunt with GameDay who host the Rowing Connect register, you need to use a WCRC specific link to ensure your details are collected correctly
Here is the WC registration link -> Gameday RNZ 2025-26 Membership Registration form
A tip for parents. Register for Gameday using just one account. Then proceed to register yourself first, you can then register your partner (as a volunteer - just in case) then you can register your rower/cox. You'll have all three under the one Gameday account.
