  • On-water performance at all levels - making finals across all age groups at NISSC and Maadi

Our Values

On and off the water, Wellington College rowers are ambassadors for our school. We expect them to consistently reflect Wellington College's values and uphold the codes of conduct set by Wellington College, WCRC, and Star Boating Club.

Likewise, our coaches, parents, and supporters play a vital role in setting the tone. We expect all members of our community to demonstrate the same high standards and commitment to WC's values in everything they do.

Wellington College’s values are Wellington College Rowing Club's values.

We believe that in order to develop a school of good character, we should do the right thing even when no one is watching, we should welcome, support, and encourage others in ways that enhance their mana, and we should do our best and strive to improve in everything we do.

Wellington College's Values are Integrity, Manaakitanga, and Excellence:

  • Integrity: We do the right thing even when no one is watching

  • Manaakitanga: We welcome, support, and encourage others in ways that enhances their mana.

  • Excellence: We do our best and strive to improve in everything we do.
