Parents/Whānau and Supporters

Transport to regattas is either by way of car pooling, mini-van or bus. Parent/whānau volunteers are called upon to be mini-van drivers.

If parents wish to make alternative travel arrangements for their son to or after the regatta, they must inform the coaches and parent helpers. Rowers must not leave a regatta or camp without the Lead parent or pastoral care aware - otherwise this will be classified as an incident.

  • A print out of the day sheet filtered by athlete can be downloaded from Rowit, click here.
  • Something to eat/drink as refreshment facilities are not always onsite and if they are you will probably need cash

Wellington College marquee

The Wellington College marquee is the base from which the boys refuel, rest and support other Wellington College and Star crews at away regattas. It is also a meeting point for boys, parents, whānau and supporters.

The boat park is for coaches and crews only.

A race debrief occurs after each race before the boys return back to the supporters’ marquee.
