2025 Pōwhiri – Te Kura o Te Mahia
To begin our 2025 school year, we held a beautiful pōwhiri on Monday 3rd February to welcome all new students, staff, and their whānau. Our manuhiri gathered at the waharoa at 9am, where they were formally welcomed onto the school grounds with warmth and manaakitanga.
It was a special way to start the year together, grounded in tikanga and unity. Ngā mihi to everyone who joined us for this important occasion.
Te Pōwhiri o te Tau 2025 – Te Kura o Te Mahia
I te Rāhina, te 3 o Pēpuere, i tū tō mātou pōwhiri hei whakatau i ngā tauira hou, ngā kaimahi hou me ō rātou whānau ki te kura. I huihui mai ngā manuhiri ki te waharoa ā te 9 karaka i te ata, ā, ka whakatau tika ai ki te kura i runga i te manaakitanga me te tikanga Māori.
He huarahi motuhake tēnei hei tīmata i te tau kura hou i runga i te kotahitanga me te wairua Māori. Ngā mihi nui ki te hunga i tae mai ki te tautoko i tēnei kaupapa whakahirahira.
