Netball Rotorua is committed to safeguarding our children and recognises the Netball NZ Safe Netball for Children Policy 2022.

NNZ recognises the need for a specific Concussion Policy to direct actions, responses, and treatment of concussions of all Netball players in New Zealand.

Concussion is a mild traumatic brain injury (mTBI). While the incidence in Netball is low, concussion is becoming a significant public health issue and is increasingly more prevalent across all sporting codes.
