Netball Rotorua was delighted to meet with the Rotorua Breast Cancer Trust to hand over the money raised in our Pink Tournament held in March 2024.

This tournament was previously organised and run by Rose O'Brien Gardner and this year was held in her honour. The Ladies Open (Competitive) Trophy is sponsored by RBCT and has Rose's name on it - it will forever be in memory of her.

The PINK TOURNAMENT raised over $2000 to go towards the Rotorua Breast Cancer Trust, thank you to all the teams who played in good spirit and for a great cause.

Pink Tournament 2025: Sunday 16 March

This tournament is held in honour of Rose O'Brien-Gardiner with all proceeds going to the Rotorua Breast Cancer Trust. Rose was dedicated to her volunteer work at Netball Rotorua and was passionate about getting new umpires out on the courts, ready and confident to umpire. Rose worked tirelessly to the end to grow participation and develop the game here in Rotorua.
