Rose was dedicated to her volunteer work at Netball Rotorua and was passionate about getting new umpires out on the courts, ready and confident to umpire.
She was well known to all who played netball, having been a point of contact for anyone needing assistance.
Rose was a huge influence in getting our Rotorua tamariki upskilled with her holiday netball programmes and tournaments and was instrumental in setting up all our netball registrations and databases.
Rose worked tirelessly to the end in an effort to grow participation and develop the game here in Rotorua.
