Entry fee: $200 to be paid at registration.Registrations open: June 2026 (TBC).

Grades - please enter carefully. 

  • Intermediate (7th & 8th year at school)
  • Juniors (9th and 10th year at school)
  • Secondary (11th - 13th year at school)

Any teams that have won sections or Grades in 2025 are expected to play up a grade in 2026 (if not A Grade). Netball Rotorua reserves the right to regrade as it sees fit.

For intermediate teams, up to 3 boys are allowed in each area of the court as per Netball Rotorua regulations.
​​​​​​​For collegiate and senior secondary school ages, our competition is female only.
We are looking at the possibility of including boys in the future, but for 2026, girls only.

Conditions of Entry

By entering your team, you acknowledge all Conditions of Entry.

  • ​​​​​​​Players must still be attending school.
  • Teams should be affiliated directly with a netball association that is affiliated to Netball New Zealand.
    ​​​​​​​They will have first preference. Teams made up of a selection of individuals from different schools is allowed, provided they all attend school and there is a team uniform (netball dresses).
  • ENTRY FEE:  $200 per team to be paid at registration.
  • NO LATE ENTRIES. Teams will only be advised if their entry is NOT accepted. No notification will be given to accepted teams. Our website will be updated on a regular basis once entries have closed or grades are full.
  • Teams must include a nominated umpire.
  • ​​​​​​​Teams may nominate the grades they wish to play, however, the Tournament  Committee reserves the right to re-grade any team.
  • ​​​​​​​Players may not play for other teams
  • By entering the event, attendees consent to being photographed and/or recorded. 
  • There is a special meeting of team managers and umpires at 7.45am (time TBC) on Saturday at Netball Rotorua Centre. Each team must be represented as there may be changes to the draw which may affect your team and their start time.
  • ​​​​​​​If a delegate is unable to attend, please email rotnet@xtra.co.nz to confirm your team's arrival time, or report upstairs before 8.30 am.
  • Umpire cards can be collected at the Managers & Umpires special meeting at 8.00am at the courts.
  • Sponsored Umpires: If your team requires a sponsored umpire, you must contact Freda with payment in full. (fredahoromia@xtra.co.nzConfirmation will be made via return email. Each new application must be accepted and confirmed.

Trophies and Prizegiving

  • Trophies will be given to the winners and runners-up in each Grade.  Badges are given to the winners of each grade. 
  • Trophy holders are responsible for having their team names engraved and are requested to return the engraved trophies before 1st August each year.​​​​​​​
  • Banners are awarded to the winners of each section in each grade.
  • Prizegiving will be held at the courts after the tournament on Sunday. 
  • No Banners or Trophies will be awarded before the prize-giving.

Our Courts, Pavilion and Car Park are smoke-free areas. 
We thank you for not smoking at our complex.

Umpires

Any teams requiring umpires, please email Freda to arrange (Netball Rotorua has a limited supply of umpires available at a cost of $180 for the weekend).
