Our Courts

New surface - we try our very best to look after our courts, but we need you to help.

Please discard your chewing gum in the bins provided (OUR BIGGEST ENEMY) and refrain from cycling/riding on the green. NO high heels or sprigs, no chairs, no leaning on umbrellas, no tables on the green.

Thank you x

Aren't the new courts so much better than the old concrete ones!?

Resurfacing our courts

We upgraded our courts over 2 years, from 2017 to 2019,  beginning with the retaining walls on the West and South aspects of the grounds. Ground works continued adjacent to the Pavilion,  followed by retaining walls adjacent to the Umpire's Carpark.
Stage 1 was completed with "Rebound Ace" applied to the 'Premier' courts 1-8 (they include an umpire lane) and they were used for the 2018 Netball season. (Floodlights were yet to be completed).

Stage 2 of the process began in January 2019 with the surface preparation (smoothing and grit removal) and the removal of trees on the Northern end. Rebound Mat sealer was applied on the courts, following by brushing the green glue and rolling out Rebound Ace onto the remainding courts. Finally the brown/red spectator lines were painted and the carefully measured court lines painted/applied. March 2019 saw the final stage of goal posts added to complete our court upgrade before the season commenced in April 2019.
