Each year the school has its own Athletics day and every student is encouraged to participate. From this event we have students compete in the Tasman Secondary School Athletics Championships.

Students can continue on for South Island and National events.

This year we had numerous students do incredibly well at Tasman Secondary Schools Athletics Championships.

Cost

There will be a charge for entry for each event.   The events outside of Nelson will incur costs dependent on each event and its location and parents/families are asked to make their own travel arrangements.

Uniform

Students will wear a Waimea top to compete in and need to wear their own plain black shorts.
