Netball is well represented at Waimea College. We have multiple teams playing in the weekly competition and each year we have teams compete at the Junior and Senior level at South Island events.

Games are played on a Saturday at Saxton Stadium and Saxton outdoor netball courts. 

Teams that play indoors are required to do umpire duty for the younger teams either before or after their own games.

Netball runs during Term 2 and Term 3.

Key Dates

Registrations are taken during Term 1 with trials taking place later in Term 1.

The netball season begins in May and goes through until finals in August.

South Island Junior Champs  - 6th - 9th July

Tasman Secondary Schools Senior Supernet Tournament - 12th August

South Island Senior Champs - 31st August - 3rd September

Fees

$125 per player for those teams playing on the outdoor courts.

$196.50 per player for those teams playing in the indoor courts.

Uniform

Dresses are hired from the Sports Office, costs for this are included in playing fees.
