There are numerous events you can compete locally or nationally at whilst representing Waimea College in Beach Volleyball. On a weekly basis, 2 aside teams play at the Tahunanui Beach Courts. These teams are organised and entered by the players themselves, rather than the school.

There are also different formatted tournaments on weekends. (VNZ Ranking Point Tournaments, King/Queen of the Beach, and Age Group/Secondary School Championships).

These tournaments are designed to prepare the athletes leading up to VNZ Age Group/Secondary School Championships. 

Cost

There will be a charge for entry for each event.   The events outside of Nelson will incur costs dependent on each event and its location and parents/families are asked to make their own travel arrangements.

Uniform

Students will wear a Waimea top to compete in and need to wear their own plain black shorts.

Tasman Secondary Schools Senior Beach Volleyball Champs - TBC
