Semi final:
Temuka's Lorraine Tyro, Noeleen Milne, Maria Davey, and Judy Keats played Geraldine's Barbara Tiffen, Linda Gallagher, Diane Cuthbert and Toni Johnson.
It was outstanding game by Temuka. Geraldine started to come back but had run out of ends and the final score was 23-6.
Final:
Waimate's Liz Law, Nicole Clark, Carol Clark, and Penny Pulman were up against Temuka. It was set to be a tough game and it was looking like a Waimate win with Waimate up 12-0 after six ends. Then Temuka picked up a 2, then a 5, and away they went, with Waimate only winning one more shot for the game. Going into the last end Temuka was up by one and just needed to hold shot to win. Liz played a couple of run shots and by the slimmest of margins missed the jack.
It was an outstanding game of two halves with the final score going the way of Temuka 15-13.
Congratulations to Lorraine Tyro, Maria Davey and Judy Keats for winning their first Centre title. Well done!
Thanks goes to Temuka for hosting the Centre Fours.
