2000
President - Tony Fox

Club Captain - Colin Mavor
Senior Coach - Graham Smith & Peter Rowland
Senior B Coach - Ian Gold
The new millennium saw the club field a Senior B and Senior team.
The Senior B team started off very strongly and looked like the team to beat in the competition but towards the end of the season with injuries and player unavailability their form dropped and they were beaten in the semi finals in a closely contested game with Excelsior.
The seniors performed very consistently with just a squad of 18 players. During the season they won the Tayles Trophy which is played annually between Excelsior and Valley, the Alex Newlands Trophy match between Maheno and Valley and the North Otago Rugby Union Rose Bowl Trophy. Once again they made the final for the Citizen Shield but after taking a handy lead two front row injuries put any chance of victory with Athletic coming out the victors. The club had a good representation in the North Otago 3rd division NPC team with Barry Fox captaining the team along with Dean Paterson, Mike Mavor, Justin Rawcliffe and Jimmy Mavor.
In the North Otago A team represented were Reece Kiwara, Nathan Mavor and Steve Collett. Dean Patterson and Mike Mavor were also selected to represent North Otago in the National Seven aside tournament in Palmerston North.
Dean Paterson also made history when he scored a try against Waikato in a Ranfurley Shield challenge.
The end of year social and presentation of trophies was held at the Homestead in October
