The club saw our first woman President with Karen Reid taking the chair.

Schoolboy Section - Bill Young was elected President and under the guidance he led the section through another successful year.

Senior Rugby - As was the trend throughout North Otago with player numbers down we still fielded a Senior B and a Senior team.

The Senior B team was by far the most consistent team in the North Otago Competition and more than held its own in the North Otago Competition. The season had a very successful conclusion when under the new captaincy of Scott Rowland they went onto defeat Athletic in the final and become Senior B Champions once again.

The Seniors battled in the early part of the season with injuries and a small player bass but picked up some new players to end the season with a good base for the next season. They won the James Tayles Cup and Muldrew shield for the season and finished 3rd for the season in the North Otago Competition. The South Canterbury Competition saw them finish about mid way.

Social Scene - All events were well patronized with the highlights seeing us host Colin Meads at Oamaru Club to a luncheon to launch his book. The season concluded with the presentation of trophies and social in the Clubrooms.  Trophy WinnersSenior - Senior Back - Mike MavorSenior Forward - Nathan MavorMost Points - Justine RawcliffeMost tries - Ryan FraserPlayer of the Year - Craig ThompsonMost Contentious - Barry Fox Senior B - Senior B back - Scott RowlandSenior B forward - LukePlayer of the Year - Jason BaxterMost Contentious - Paul Johnston
