Senior B Coaches - Reece Kiwara and Craig Cottier

Schoolboys - Under the leadership of Bill Young the section continued to grow with increased numbers. Once again much enthusiasm and lots of fundraising. the boys were decked out in new jerseys.

Senior - A frustrating season with alot of defaults from other teams. Numbers were good but with teams defaulting enthusiasm was hard to maintain. The team made it to the finals but were beaten by Athletic with a stacked team.

Premier - Just enough numbers with players travelling up from Dunedin to help. They once again played in the South Canterbury Competition. They suffered some very narrow loses and ended up with 50/50 results. They made it into the local competition semi-finals and lost 23-20. There was still a very strong band of supporters who followed the team all season and some very enjoyable bus trips.

Sadness - The Club was deeply shocked and saddened by the death of one of our most loyal club members and player, Jimmy Mavor from Cancer at age 32. Jimmy played over 200 premier games for the club mainly as hooker and at the time of his death was Junior Vice President. His funeral was one of the biggest Oamaru had seen in many years with an estimated 1000 mourners. This bore testimony to the high regard that Jimmy held in the community.
