JAB - President - Stefan Mavor. Very good numbers again with 2 under 5 teams and teams in all grades. Also two under 8 teams. All teams had an enjoyable season with the season ending with a bus trip to Forsyth Bar Stadium to watch Otago play Bay of Plenty.
Presidents Grade - Very good numbers. This was a 6 team with the joining of South Canterbury. Valley was the only team which consistently fielded a team every Saturday. It was a very frustrating season with lots of defaults against the team. We made it to both the South Canterbury and North Otago Finals. Dubious sections from both opposing teams with team stacking foiled the attempts of Valley to win both finals but they had the satisfaction that they played by the rules throughout the season.
Premier - A very satisfactory season both in numbers and result wise. They reached the semi finals beating Athletic. However in the final were outplayed by Old Boys going down 41-13. A team we had beaten previously.
Seasons Trophies

AJ Newlands Trophy vs Maheno

Isbister Memorial vs Old Boys
A lot of imported players were brought in by the N.O.R.U. with players from the USA, England and Samoa/Fiji. We were the only club to field a team made up of local players and blooded some new young very capable players with some players making their Premier debut coming up from the Presidents grade.
The end of year trophies were presented in a different format the year owing to the large number of Netball teams in the Club with each having their own Trophy Presentation in the Clubrooms and a large combined social held at Weston Hall.
